1 Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, phone number, user role (customer or technician), sign-in credentials, and profile details you provide.
  • Phone verification: one-time passcodes (OTP) and verification status used to help secure your account.
  • Customer requests: service descriptions, categories, suggested prices, scheduling preferences, addresses or service areas, and photos you upload with a request.
  • Technician profile information: bio, service categories, years of experience, availability, service area, and profile photo.
  • Technician-provided uploads: credentials or documents and previous work photos that technicians choose to upload to their profile.
  • Professional Score inputs: profile completeness, uploads, completed jobs on FastFix, customer ratings, account activity, and related signals used to calculate a Professional Score percentage shown in the app.
  • Negotiation chat: text messages, images you send in chat, and location shares when you use those features.
  • Ratings and reviews: star ratings and optional comments after completed jobs.
  • Location data: approximate or precise location when you grant permission, used to match nearby requests and offers and to display distance on maps.
  • Device and push data: device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, and basic usage or log data for performance and security.
  • Safety and moderation data: reports, complaints, warning counts, blocks, and signals related to fair use or policy enforcement.

2 Technician-Provided Content

Credentials, documents, work photos, bios, and other profile materials are provided by technicians. FastFix displays this information so customers can review it before hiring. FastFix does not guarantee the accuracy, validity, authenticity, or licensing status of technician-provided uploads or profile information.

3 Professional Score

Professional Score is calculated from technician-provided information and activity on FastFix (such as profile completeness, uploads, completed jobs, ratings, and account activity). It is displayed for informational purposes only. Professional Score is not a certification, approval, guarantee, or license by FastFix.

4 How We Use Information

  • Operating the marketplace: creating accounts, posting requests, submitting offers, matching users, and coordinating jobs.
  • Displaying technician profiles, technician-provided uploads, ratings, reviews, and Professional Score to signed-in users when enabled.
  • Enabling in-app chat, notifications, and account settings.
  • Safety, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and enforcement of platform rules (including contact-sharing restrictions in chat).
  • Customer support, dispute handling, and internal administration.
  • Improving the app and complying with applicable legal obligations.

5 How We Share Information

Between customers and technicians: request details, offers, profiles, ratings, reviews, technician-provided uploads (when visible), and chat messages are shared as needed for the marketplace to function. Phone numbers are not automatically shared; contact may occur through in-app chat or when the platform explicitly reveals numbers after both parties accept an offer, as shown in the app.

Service providers: we use vendors for hosting, databases, SMS or OTP delivery, push notifications, maps, analytics, and similar infrastructure under contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to respond to valid legal requests.

6 Location Data

With your permission, we collect location data to show nearby service requests or technicians, calculate distance, and display map-related features. You can disable location access in device settings; some features may not work without it.

7 Retention & Account Deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate the platform, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and meet legal obligations. You may delete your account from Account/Profile → Settings → Delete account in the app. See also our Delete Account page. Some records may be retained in anonymized or limited form for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance after deletion.

8 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport and access controls for sensitive storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9 Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, delete your account in the app or contact us at the email below.

10 Changes & Contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
