Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the FastFix platform. By accessing or using FastFix, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1 Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to FastFix ("the Platform," "we," "our," or "us"). FastFix is a digital marketplace that connects customers seeking home services with independent service technicians in Egypt. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FastFix mobile application and website.

By creating an account, accessing, or using FastFix in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

FastFix reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2 Description of Service

FastFix is a marketplace platform only. We connect customers with independent technicians. FastFix does not directly provide any home service, employ technicians, or guarantee the quality of any work performed.

Our role is to:

  • Provide a platform for customers to post service requests
  • Allow technicians to view requests and submit offers
  • Facilitate communication between customers and technicians via in-app chat
  • Maintain a review and ratings system for accountability
  • Verify technician profiles to a reasonable standard

FastFix is not a party to any service agreement between a customer and a technician. Any contract for services is formed solely between the customer and the technician.

3 User Accounts

To use FastFix, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. FastFix reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is found to contain inaccurate information.

4 For Customers

As a customer on FastFix, you may post home service requests, receive offers from technicians, and communicate with them through the platform. By using these features, you agree to:

  • Post requests only for legitimate, legal home services
  • Provide accurate descriptions of the work required and your location
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with technicians
  • Not attempt to conduct transactions outside the platform to avoid applicable fees
  • Leave honest and accurate reviews based on your actual experience
  • Not share false, misleading, or defamatory information about any technician

FastFix reserves the right to remove requests that are inappropriate, illegal, or violate these Terms without notice.

5 For Technicians (Service Providers)

Technicians who register on FastFix are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of FastFix. By registering as a technician, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete profile information including your specialization, experience, and service areas
  • Submit only genuine, competitive price offers for jobs you intend and are qualified to complete
  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully with customers
  • Comply with all applicable Egyptian laws and regulations for your trade
  • Hold any required licenses, permits, or certifications for the services you offer
  • Not attempt to solicit customers outside the platform after initial contact through FastFix

FastFix reserves the right to remove, suspend, or restrict any technician account at its sole discretion, particularly where customer complaints or policy violations are identified.

6 Verification

FastFix makes reasonable efforts to verify the identity and credentials of technicians before approving their accounts. However, we do not guarantee that all information provided by technicians is accurate, complete, or current.

Verification is intended to provide a basic level of assurance and does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by any technician.

Customers are encouraged to review technician ratings, read past reviews, and communicate through in-app chat before confirming any engagement.

7 Pricing, Offers & Payments

Technicians set their own prices. FastFix does not set, control, or guarantee any pricing. All offers submitted by technicians are binding commitments by the technician to perform the described work at the stated price.

  • Prices displayed are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated
  • Any agreed price between a customer and technician is a direct agreement between those parties
  • FastFix may introduce platform fees or service charges in the future; users will be notified in advance of any such changes
  • FastFix is not liable for any payment disputes between customers and technicians

8 Ratings & Reviews

The review system is a core part of FastFix's accountability framework. To maintain integrity:

  • Only users who have completed a verified job transaction may leave a review
  • Reviews must reflect your honest, genuine experience
  • Fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews are strictly prohibited
  • FastFix may remove reviews that violate these Terms or appear to be fraudulent
  • Technicians may not offer incentives to customers in exchange for positive reviews

9 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use FastFix to:

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity of any kind
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user
  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Platform
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform data without authorization
  • Use the Platform to solicit users for services outside of FastFix

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

10 Communication & Privacy

FastFix provides an in-app chat feature to enable communication between customers and technicians. This feature is designed to protect the privacy of both parties — personal phone numbers are not shared unless a user voluntarily chooses to share them.

All in-app communications are subject to our Privacy Policy. FastFix may review communications when investigating complaints or enforcing these Terms.

11 Intellectual Property

All content on the FastFix Platform — including the name, logo, design, code, text, graphics, and data — is the property of FastFix and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our express written permission.

By posting content (such as job descriptions or reviews) on FastFix, you grant FastFix a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Platform's normal operation.

12 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

FastFix is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, FastFix shall not be liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or outcome of any service performed by a technician
  • Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from a technician's work
  • Disputes between customers and technicians
  • Platform downtime, data loss, or technical errors
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

13 Termination

Either party may terminate the user relationship at any time. You may delete your account through the app settings. FastFix may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases. FastFix may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.
